Repair/Service: steering rack on Audi 200, and for audi A6; axles for A6 quattro; other

Hourly Rate: $60.

Total Cost: $500.

This is an active garage with a good work ethic, prompt completions.. I have repaired my Audi cars here,
labor rate is competitive and they do work on saturdays. I do need to acquire the
cheaper parts at times - their market research is slim or inconsistent. For instance,
I got an instant (good value) quote for the steering rack on the 1990 audi 200 but when
the 1997 audi A6 needed the same part, they only referenced the audi source when I could find
a re-manufactured part much cheaper.
They are also not an engine internals shop - you need to go elsewhere for that sort of nitty-gritty.
(the 200 steering rack totaled 450 including 160+ for the part, even though they may have required more time,
they charged what they quoted.)
