I went to this Midas location looking to get brake pads replaced and rotors resurfaced per my dealer's recommendation. The sales manager told me that I needed to have all the rotors replaced, not resurfaced, along with all new brake pads. Essentially doubling the price of the service to $800. I told him I would think about it and get back to him. After some online research and speaking to people I know, I came to the conclusion that I did not need to have this work done. My car has under 50000 miles and doesn't show any symptoms that would indicate needing rotors replaced. When I had my brakes checked a third time by another shop, I was told front brakes pads were fine, rear pads would need replacement soon, but there was NO NEED to replace rotors. I saved myself $600! Bottom line do your own research, especially if you are a female, a lot of places look to take advantage of your ignorance, this is one.
