Repair/Service: brakes and maintenance

This shop is great, and thats odd to say about a car repair place. iI had my car in at another name brand shop and they had told me i needed front and rear brakes replaced on my 2004 Honda Accord. When i brought it in to Kevin he said he would look it over instead of taking another shops word. After about twenty minutes Kevin came back and asked me to come out into the shop and look at what his mechanic noticed. To my surprise he they both told me i didnt need any rear brakes at all and the front brakes could go another couple of weeks, i just told him to go ahead and get them done today, he had also noticed the car needed some other maintenance as well ( the other shop said the same thing too). So, with the maintenance and the brakes that i acually needed, the total invoice came to $627.80 and to let you know the other shop aprox. four blocks away was $1189.65, I was blown away and i feel anyone who needs car repairs should first get a second opinoin and if living in crystal lake il should try the Merlin 200,000 mile shop on Rt. 14.
