The new crew at Mariner Auto Repair are some of the most professional and straight forward auto service people I have delt with. From the beginning, Ryan and his staff kept me appraised of the status of my car and handled the repair in a way that made me feel comfortable and confident. They corrected numerous errors that a prior shop had made and I left with my car in better shape than its been in years. Very Highly Recommended.
You go into a shop expecting to be sold something. I go in, sit shortly, have a fulfilling conversation with the new owner Ryan and he is definitely someone different. He made me feel comfortable and when the mechanic comes in with my keys, Ryan says "you're all set, everything looks safe and full". I was about to ask are you sure in my state of confusion but wow, nothing? I will be making this my new shop. Funny how Mr Lewis has nothing bad to say. I wonder if he has ever even been to there. May want to call Mr. Lewis and ask him personally. Chances are two satisfied customers went online the same day. So why give a negative rating?
This was my first time dealing with this shop, and I will return. The shop is clean and the owner seems like a honest man. They had a coupon ad for a oil change, and they didn't have any surprise extra costs like other shops do.
funny how the 2 good reviews were put up the same day. looks like someone is trying to do some corrective surgery to repair the bad reputation this shop has.
My wife & I called a dozen auto repair shops for a price of a front & rear brake job. These guys quoted me a price that was half that of anyone else. I so the nasty review here on line & almost decided to go elsewhere. Thanks to my better judgement I decide to give them a chance. Th owner/manager was very helpful & informative. He inspected my brakes & advised me that my rear brakes still had over 50% of wear left. They turned my front rotors & changed pads using the more exspensive ceramic pads. This is standard at this shop. Other shops quoted me $30 extra per axle for ceramic pads. The job was done quickly, professionally & at the quoted price, ( NO LAST MINUTE SURPISES ). I wll definetely use this shop in the future. By the way, there is a nice little restaurunt right next door where you can enjoy a nice breakfast or lunch while you wait for your car to be serviced.
Mariner Auto Repair is under new Managemant and the new owner, Ryan Schrader, has to be the most reasonable person I have ever dealt with. I was sitting there waiting to talk to him about my car and was watching the way he dealt with the customer's in front of me and he had to be the most professional person I've ever seen. He was working with those people and catering to their financial situation. I have and will always refer friends and family to that shop as long as Ryan is there. Beside his professional experience, he lowered my bill and I will continue to correct any bad word that previous owner's may have created.
I had them do front and rear brakes on my 2007 toyota camry. The brakes squeaked right after they did the job. Brought the camry back in at least 4 times. Twice they just sprayed some anti-squeak on there which didn't help at all. The manager once told me " some of these camrys just squeak". A few times they just blew me out of there saying he didn't have time to look at it. So finally fed up I went to Tuffy Auto on Route 19. They actually got into it to see what the problem was and found that hardware clips were missing from the front and rear pads and the caliper slide were not lubed. So I had to buy hardware kits for the front and rear. This was all technician error that could have been avoided if they did the job right the first time or if they actually looked to see what the problem was the numerous times I went back. Better repair shops then this in spring hill.
