I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone looking to correct a problem with your car. Maybe a quick oil change or to fix a flat tire. That's about it. They had my car which over heated and miss fired when you started the car at the end of December 2013. I was lied to continuously by phone that they were checking out my car for different issues. I understand it was the holidays but they changed their diagnosis of the cause so many time that I knew they were lying. I finally confronted the owner, whom claimed with confidence that it was my water pump after he changed all my spark plugs and wires and temperature gage. All of a sudden, the next day he tells me it's the head gasket and I may have a cracked block but he'll check. I finally, received my car back February1,2014. He whacked me for $ 2,200.00 Guess what....... I drove the car home and immediately the check engine light came on and my car now sounds like a Q45 Infinity car with a loud rumble from the Great engine work they did. P.S. They also did damaged the body of my car too!!! Save yourself the head ache don't go there if you care about your car..
It took my wife and me over twenty years to find an honest and competent auto mechanic in the Freehold area. About five years ago, we found one when Lou opened his shop on Rt. 9. Lou knows everything there is to know about cars and is a true gentleman - all of the time. My wife appreciates that he takes the time to explain everything to her and is not one of those macho men, who think women can't understand how automobiles operate. My whole family has been using Lou since I started going to him. He diagnoses problems correctly, repairs things satisfactorily and charges fairly. He also stands behind his work. What more can one ask of an auto repair service? Highly recommended!
