DON'T BELIEVE THAT IT IS A "FREE AC CHECK". We took our Mitsubishi Galant there for the "Free AC Check" and it ended up costing us $160.00. We asked them to call us before they did any work. Well they called us and told us they had to take the dashboard off in order to look at the AC so it would be $80 for having to take off the dashboard. We asked them why they did not call us first. We were told it had to come off anyway in order to evaluate the AC. Again we asked why we were not called. No answer. So they said if they fix the problem we would not be charged the $80. At this point they hadn't even "checked" the AC. We told them to check the AC and then call us before making any repairs. After a few hours, no call. We called them and they told us the car was ready and it would be $160.00. WHAT!!! Will never go there again for anything!!
LOCATION: 551 FM 517 Rd W, Dickinson, TX 77539 (3901) 281-534-2271 HORRID!!! THE SECRETARY BASICALLY SAID NO ONE CARED ABOUT MY PROBLEM BECAUSE YOU JUST BUILD AND SELL THE STORES AND TO TALK TO DAVID (WOULDN’T GIVE ME A LAST NAME). SINCE YOU HAVE NO WAY TO BE CONTACTED TO RESOLVE A DISPUTE, I POSTED THIS LAST NIGHT ON ONLY ONE SITE. HOWEVER, I WILL FIND 100 SITES, THE BBB, ANGIES LIST, ETC. TO POST THIS IF I RECEIVE NO COMMUNICATION TOMORROW. AND I’LL ONLY USE THE FIRST PARAGRAPH FROM NOW ON. ALL OF THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED AS I’VE WRITTEN. I asked for an oil change ONLY. They agreed then drained the oil and removed the oil filter. THEN they told me I had to replace 2 belts and an air filter or they were going to put it in the report that they were bad (remembering I told them not to look at anything else); bad of course being subjective and they could not tell me why, just that they were bad. Remember, I had SPECIFICALLY stated "Oil Change Only". I keep all records for the next owner and I do this type of work myself, that's why I don't want it in any report/receipt. I told them to give me my oil and filter back since they lied to me. I had to call the POLICE to get my truck out of the shop, the police showed up (always works). HOWEVER, to be fair, after the police were in route, the manager stepped, and apologized, removed the BS that was on the receipt and got me out of there with an oil change (it is not clear to me whether he was aware of what was going on, I approached him and then he intervened ). As a GM with over 100 people that work for me, I can tell you that a company is people – not a name, not stuff that they have, only the people that work there. One bad apple like this “oil changer” shouldn’t sink a company, but I’d check back and see if there’s a pattern. If so, then it’s their policies that are bad and no one should use their company – ANY OF THEIR 350 OF THEM.
Took over an hour to do an oil change and inspection and not because they were busy but because the mechanic couldn't figure out how to take off a skid panel to change the oil filter. Don't waste your time go to liggios
