Stay away from this place! They constantly perform unauthorized work on cars and leave owners to pay hundreds of dollars more than they expected. Even when you give them simple instructions to only fix a specific thing, or only complete a specific task (inspection), they return your car to you with hundreds of dollars in extra repairs. This place is a scam. They have terrible service and incredibly rude employees who make you feel like a jerk if you question their unethical practices. A neighborhood garage that rips you off like the big boys. I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE and would warn everyone to stay away from them.

Some of the nicest people in the northwest section of RI. Always friendly, eager to help. I moved to Scituate 6 years ago and have never had an issue doing business with Knoxs.

It's funny how the first reviewer knew the hourly rate, I have been taking my car and my wife's and now my son's for 27 years and I didn't. First and formeost I wanted to be sure my family was safe when they were in the car. From Norman Knox , to Rob Knox and now Scott Knox, you will not find nicer peopleor finer mechanics. I put myself through school working as a mechanic, I would know when I'm being ripped off. I am not sure where the first reviewer went, but it could not have been Knox's, or maybe he's a competitor trying to ruin Knox's reputation. Regardless, the work is done right the first time, it is always less than the dealer, and they bend over bacwards to explain and help you with your car problems. I am a small business person myself, Knox's is a fine example of a honest small business.
