Went to Kim's Auto Body on advice from a friend!! and so glad that I did - they dealt with the insurance company directly and fixed the car excellent!! It looked like it had never been in an accident. They were kind and polite with me since this was the first accident I had ever been involved in. They explained everything and I was so glad. I would definitely go back to them again if I need to and will definitely tell all my friends!!! Thanks Kim's!!!

This is a response to Don Coy’s review who does not even live in or travel to Florida. We are sorry your company delivery van was in a rear end accident and required repairs. Before starting, we communicated with your company on multiple occasions, provided a written estimate and received written authorization to commence repairs with the understanding that payment in full would be due upon completion. No one from your company was advised that your vehicle could be repaired in 3 days, it was just not possible due to the extent of the damage incurred. This was a rear end collision that required multiple replacement parts, repairs and paint refinish. It took longer than 3 days to receive the parts needed to begin the repair process. That is simply made up information from whomever told you that in your office. When your vehicle was completed, you are correct that your driver was notified and came to our shop on a Friday afternoon. You stated that shoddy workmanship was made but you nor anyone from your company had even seen or inspected the vehicle prior to your untrue written statement on the internet. This is just a slanderous vindictive lie on your part. We could not release your vehicle to your driver because he did not have a check with him and your office could not reach you for authorization to use the company credit card. That’s it, plain and simple. He sat at our office playing phone tag with your office trying to figure out how payment was going to be made. Finally, he gave up waiting for a response from your office and left advising us that it would be resolved Monday. We were then notified that an insurance company was going to pay for the repairs but that payment was not yet processed. We took photos as requested and forwarded them to your insurance company. All we did was repair your vehicle as requested and expect payment when it was picked up. The first time our office heard from you was on the following Wednesday. At that time you spoke to 3 different individuals in our office and threatened each one of us with physical attacks, extreme verbal abuse, litigation, and threats against our property including burning down our building all because we expected payment when your vehicle is picked up. We had no choice but to file an official police report against you. In over 20 years of business we have been fortunate to have never been put into a situation with such an unreasonable individual such as yourself. We do understand that you can use the internet for your spiteful lies and revenge, however we trust that any readers of your review will take your claims as such. Regardless, your vehicle has been properly repaired, it looks better than it did prior to the accident as we repaired all of the rust on the back doors that was NOT due to the collision. We are proud to be able to warranty all of our repairs for as long as you own your vehicle. We offer this warranty to all of our customers and will continue to do so in the future.

BEWARE of this company, KIMS auto and truck collision, they lie, rude people, high prices, shoddy workmanship. I took my truck there after being a victim of a rear ender. and they said the truck would take 3 days, it took over 8 days and after they said it was done we went to pick up and had to wait being told it was not done. And we waited about 1.5 hours and finally left that was a Friday. On Monday I called them (they did not call me) and they said did you know that your door handle was broken. lol. ok well damage on your lot then fix it. They got really mad at me for something they have done and hung up on me. I finally called on Wednesday and they said the truck is done But we cannot release the truck because we have not received payment from the insurance company. SO after finding this out on the 3rd day to pick up after I had talk to the insurance company and they had arranged payments to the shop, I called the shop and they tell me that Joe was not there and he is the one that make decisions regarding releasing the truck and he would be back at 4-430 and they close at 5pm, Had to wait till the next day. I called today they still will not let me pick up the truck...... I guess I will have to go to small claims... I thought I was the customer!!!! Guess not, they must have a lot of people who do not pay. I'm glad I'm not them.
