"Bert" sold a car on eBay, misrepresented the mileage by 88000 MILES and refused to do anything about it. Friendly until called out, was a complete a-hole on the phone and flatly denied responsibility, blaming his "secretary" for the error that was in 3 places in the ad, and on the bill of sale. Extremely shady character, proceed with extreme caution and protect yourself whatever way possible because this guy has no scruples whatsoever.

I sold the miata to the guy above, Looked at car I sign over the title, My car not the business I don't even work there anyway he checked it worked for over an hour with him helping him with his paper work. Calls me 2 days later oh the mileage isn't correct. When I buy a car I check the vin and the mileage, then tells me the mileage is off 80k or 90k off. I don't know want scam he was trying to pull, Car was sold last summer now just leaving 1 star in april. scam artist.
Anyway these guys know there stuff when it comes to porsche, mercedes and bmw. There dad marcello is top notch. Former porsche and ferrari mechanic at lemans. one ofg the smartest men I have ever met. his son lee is very good on newer cars when asking for Lee he's the chubby kid in the shop He weres the sign will work for food Just a joke they always fix my cars so don't let something personal affect there business.

Repair/Service: transmission

I took my 2003 Mercedes E320 to the dealer where I bought it from, Benzel Busch in Englewood, when my car wasnt shifting right. The service adviser called me later in the day and told me i'd need a new transmission (to the tune of $4200!!). I couldnt afford it, so a friend of mine recommended I take my car to his mechanic to see if I could get the repair done cheaper...by the way, the dealer charged me $379 just to LOOK at the car. Thats right, not fix anything, just to tell me whats wrong...rip off.

I brought my car there, and the shop owners were friendly. I was asked to leave the car there because they were busy, and i'd receive a call with an estimate. Not only did they tell me that there was nothing wrong with the transmission, they quoted me $750 to fix something electrical. The car was ready the next day! I'd highly recommend them! They're not cheap, but they're honest and really helped me when I was in a pinch
