Took vehicle in for transmission work. Which warranty covered. I believe they worked around the problem to get more money from GM. My vehicle was there for 2 weeks. Just for transmission work. I pick my vehicle up my rear passenger windows completely down. Car went in for transmission work not window issue. I get there realizing this. At this point I'm asking questions why is my window down. Marty says to me we tried to get it back up. Then he says let me take it in the bacck to see if my guys can get it back up. Now I'm there an hour waiting. Then he comes out to tell me motors burned out. my response the window wasn't like that or motor burned out when I bought it in. Then Marty goes on to say bring it back Monday and we will replace motor. Funny how his response was bring it back to get motor done. Bottom line they knew what they did and now making me responsible forba issue I didn't create or bring it in for window issues. Why were they even messing with the window. Meantime ibcontact GM. then I get call from Greg the service manager since Owner didn't want to talk with me. Greg was very ignorant and unethical. Not listening to anything I had to say. His response I'm not fixing your vehicle for free. That wasn't the issue the bottom line is they burned my window motor out and why is it my responsibility. I felt uncomfortable with bringing it there being in the past they were telling. Me in needed to replace my throttle body. Got 2nd opinion and didn't need it. Also, after they did the work my check enginelight still on. I'm furious feel like I was taken advantage being I'm a woman. its not stopping here my voice will be heard Hoffman Chevrolet!!!!!!!
The Customer Service at this dealership is below average. I have TIre pressure monitoring device installed on my vehicle that I needed replaced. I scheduled an appointment to have the sensor replaced and reprogrammed. After an hour of waiting I was told it was finished, I got into my vehicle and discovered an error message still on my screen "Service Tire Pressure" was still up and the pressure was not registering on the on dash display. Likely I knew from owning Jeeps before that it needed driven in order for the device to register on the dash I drove it for about 2 miles and it finally came up on the dash. No problem except it was registering the wrong tires. Went back to the dealership and told them. I was "confronted" by the technician and was explained that he is a level 4 tech it's got to be another sensor. I asked how can it be another sensor a bad battery etc. no answer was given. He acted like I was inconviencing him. Remember I am the paying customer I just wanted it fixed. After replacing the sensor he never checked the dash to see if it registered correctly nor to see if the code was gone. I called asked for the Service Manager it was the same service writter I talked to. He wouldn't even listen to me he cut me off at every opportunity and then asked if I was calling just to complain. Really professional. Instead of taking the customer oriented approach of addressing the problem and coming up with solution he cut the conversation short and hung up. This is the 2nd bad experience I have had at this dealership. I tried to purchase my Jeep from here and they were not very helpful at all. I have always used buchanans in Waynesboro. I will certainly drive the extra 30 miles for better service
