Repair/Service: Tow a wrecked car

I do NOT recommend this towing service! We had an accident in downtown South Bend (can see a tow video on their fb page of the accident; rollover of a pickup and also a small red car) and the SBPD called Herb's Towing to do the tow service. We had our car towed to our house as it was not drivable. Not only did they charge us $165 cash, they also tried to charge us an additional $25 because of the Leeper Park bridge construction stating they could not cross it with the vehicle in tow. Well, needless to say we followed behind the tow truck right over the bridge they supposedly could not cross. Then when we questioned the tow truck driver about it he said it was the way the gps took him and he didn't know any other route. The tow truck driver was very rude and tried to be very intimidating. Well, he wasn't. Just sounded like cranky and grumpy old liar. He did remove the fee but not without a lot of whining and complaining about the whole deal. Not good service at all!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
