Repair/Service: exhaust system

I was quoted one price (ball park) on the phone by one service manager, then when I took my car in to get the actual quote to replace the exhaust system, I was told that if I did not have the work done there they would charge me $50. Just to get a quote!! The service manager that day treated me very rudely and bullied me into having them do the work. The quote he came up with was 300 dollars higher than the first. I found a reputable garage afterward that told me that what I paid was much higher than theirs. When I called Webster Goodyear about it, they gave me a lot of excuses that they thought I would swallow because I am a woman. They admitted that some of their staff do not have "people skills." Their work is sub-par. I have since talked with many people who have had other issues with this Webster Goodyear; from being charged for new parts when the old ones were still in place, replacing parts that do not need replacing, to parts not being properly tightened and oil caps left off, causing major problems for the vehicle owners. They are known to be high priced except for oil changes. Do not use Goodyear in Webster, MA for service on any of your vehicles. There are better, less expensive, more honorable service centers out there.
