The first time I went there I wondered about the price. The second time I went there I had my engine mounts replaced. The bill was over a thousand dollars for what I was told is typically easy to do on my car. The invoice they gave me quoted me over $600 for parts, and the rest in labor. After doing some research I found out the parts only cost a little over $300. I called Garcia's auto and to give them the benefit of the doubt, I explained that I am sure they simply made a mistake. He said he understood and would look into it ASAP and call me back. About a week later I called, and he claimed he has to wait till the invoice comes in (that's odd...when does a business store invoice information elsewhere?). I told him that I had the invoice right in front of me if he wants it but he said he has to wait for their information to come in. Over the next few weeks I called and even stopped by as I was driving by and he gave me the same speal and just stared at me. Now it's been months as that was around the start of November when I had the work done, and I have yet to hear about an answer from them. In the end, the whole point of my going there was to get rid of the check engine light in my vehicle. This was there solution, and to this day the check engine light is still on. A few weeks after the work was done, I brought the car back showing the light was on and they reset it claiming there are no flags in the system. I had my light checked at Autozone and they say the computer shows it's a MAP sensor that Garcia's supposedly replaced the first time I went there (before going for the engine mounts). When I asked if the system would show no flag, they guy said that wouldn't happen. He explained as long as the check engine light is on, that means there is a flag sitting there. He said it sounded as though them telling me that and resetting it was just a blow off. Especially since it came right back on less than a week later and has been on since. Someone had recommended them to me so I had high hopes, but this place seems to be bad news. I am highly disappointed.
