  • Repair/Service: Fnt.Disc pads,insp.rear brakes,insp.noise fnt.end

    Hourly Rate: $130.50

    Total Cost: $582.17

Total scam and rip-off. *Claimed they had 'resurfaced' rear drums and also fnt. rotors but never even touched them . The rear hubs and dust covers to hub nuts were never even touched - [were 'weathered-on' since date car was manufactured]. They drained brake fluid [when they really never had to in first place] simply to just slip on fnt. pads [the easiest brake part to install] and wound up snapping bleeder screw to rear cylinder and never noted that on bill. Pedal hit floor upon completion of job and charged me for a full 'brake-fluid flush' regardless. Inspected fnt. end of vehicle looking for loud noise. They actually noted this on bill that : they found no noise but squirted 2 globs of grease to 'unrelated' ball-joints anyway. Total for this separate event: $ 80.58. [ Note: You can press down on hood of car, in parked position, with a finger and actually hear the very loud and obvious 'bad spring' noise from 2 blocks away ].
Total bill was orig.over $600.00. Without me saying a word, at time of payment of bill, they said they threw in a small courtesy discount. [ Why? Out of guilt? Who knows.] Total Bill: $ 582.17
*They never expected I would actually jack up car when I got home and remove the wheels, but I did. That's when I noticed that they NEVER PERFORMED ANY OF THE WORK regarding the rear brakes. They actually charged TIME and LABOR to this. They refused to refund the hundreds of dollars that they fraudulantly charged. All this because I 'thought' that I was too busy to do the work myself. Never again.
