Suburban collision of Farmington Hills was the worst decision I made when coming to take care of my car needs after a crash. Upon taking my car to the dealership for repair (most dealerships with the name suburban outsource their body work to this place) I was taken on a ride that nearly lasted 2 and 1/2 months. Their collision repair expert "Rick" leaves much to be desired. The initial estimate of 4 weeks for total repair became 10 weeks before I got my vehicle back. My insurance company had payment to them in full within 2 business days and they say on those checks for nearly 2 weeks before beginning the repair process. After nearly 8400 dollars in repairs their people still don't know who I am when I call and act like they are doing me a favor in taking my business. Their were 17 telephone calls between Rick and myself through the repair process of which I had to initiate 14. I had to inject myself within the process in order to get the repairs done doing their job by calling my insurance companies adjuster and arranging for supplements to my insurance company. I could only imagine how long the repair process would have taken had I not gotten involved. Upon further investigation with the dealership it turns out that it's not just customers they treat poorly they also do not return phone calls to the dealers that refer them business. If you want to be treated with respect and have you vehicle back in a timely manner I would strongly recommend taking your vehicle to another body shop who cares about your business.
