Just got my car back from the shop and it sounds great and I was expecting the price to be around this judging by the labor and estimate I was given, but when i asked for a price breakdown the owner flipped into an asshole when I questioned the mark up on some items, since I'm familiar with the prices. Such as the exhaust doughnut gaskets which cost like $4 he charged more like $40. Not too happy with him, everyone else was nice though. And they seemed to do a real good job. But after his attitude cant say I would be super exited to recommend them to anyone.

Excellet. I gave them a try regardless of the previous 1 star rating and turns out service was excellent. Kathy at the front was very informative of all my questions.

On the day I visited Ecomony muffler to have my converter replaced, the people were frindly and the service was exceptional. They got me right in and out in less then an hour. I found thier price to be very reasonable considering that they only use "MAGNAFLOW HEAVY METAL converters" which are the "best on the market" according to the tech who fixed my car. So thanks everyone at ecomony muffler for the great service i will be back for all my car's needs.

Short of digging out the receipt, which I still have, Approximately December of 2009 I brought my truck into Economy to have the exhaust system replaced from the headers back to the tail pipe. At the time I was told the muffler was fine and could be re-used and that they would replace all the pipes from the header to the muffler and from the muffler to the tail which they did. Apparently the molded rubber hangers for the exhaust system were dry rotted though and eventually broke sometime around the end of July of 2010. The exhaust system began bouncing around up and down whipping the tail pipe like the end of a whip. This movement eventually worked the metal around where the pipe slides into the rear of the muffler cracking it and eventually the metal completely separated no differently than when you take a metal coat hanger and bend it rapidly back and forth until it eventually gives and breaks. I called Economy and explained what happened and they said no problem. As long as its not rusted through (which it is not, its solid metal the same thickness as the pipe itself which they welded), that they would simply re-insert the pipe and weld it. I arrived the next morning to have them complete the repair and they told me that they couldn't weld it and that I would have to purchase a new muffler for $65.00 plus the cost of installing it. That's ridiculous! Had they replaced the dry rotted rubber hangers with the rest of the pipe system when I originally had the work done, this would have never happened in the first place! The metal around the pipe where it separated from the muffler is solid and can be welded. I know this as I have experience welding in my past and am quite aware of welding limits. All I wanted was the pipe placed back into place and welded and to have new rubber hangers installed. They refused and stated I would have to purchase a muffler and installation. Well if the muffler is no longer good due to the hangers not being replaced with the rest of the exhaust system as they should have been then if you ask me, they should replace it at their cost if they are unwilling to repair the damage by welding it back into place. The damage was caused by not replacing the molded rubber hangers when they replaced all the exhaust piping.
