2/28/2011 : 11:30AM I just called about an estimate. for my VW Jetta and Earl told me, "Bring it on over, I do estimates all the time! excitedly..." until I mentioned that I had some parts that they could use... Then in a EXTREMELY RUDE way, he said "IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN PARTS, THEN THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU, DON'T BRING IT HERE!" then he hung up on me... So i called back and I said, I must have got cut off or something, and he immediately said In a rude and unprofessional manner " NO! YOUR THE ONE THAT CALLED ABOUT THE JETTA, IF YOU HAVE PARTS THEN TAKE YOUR CAR TO WHERE YOU GOT'EM AND LET THEM FIX IT, I DONT HAVE TIME TO FOOL WITH IT RIGHT NOW." Then i said OK, I shouldn't have said that about the parts, can i bring it down there and get an estimate? AND BEFORE I COULD EVEN GET ANOTHER WORD OUT HE HUNG UP ON ME!!! A SECOND TIME... On this web site it clearly states the following:( Install parts brought by customers: Yes ) These guys are not about helping people getting there cars fixed and earning an honest living... there about ordering the parts for cheep and then overcharging for them, and keeping your car for 2 weeks while they can pretend like they spent "X" amount of labor hours. And in the end it Cost the customer 3-5x over what it actually cost to fix the vehicle. I wouldn't recommend EARLS BODY SHOP, to my worst enemy... this place NEEDS to be shut down. I will be contacting the BBB. PS. The only reason i gave them one star was because i had to give them a rating to post a review. they deserve none.
