My husband and I were on our way to Hattiesburg, Ms and our truck died on the Pascagoula bridge while towing a 28 foot camper. Being desperate, I found Byrd's Automotive on the internet and called them to come get us. We ended up needing two trucks, one for the truck and one for the camper. The bill ended up being 125 a piece which was a little ridiculous since their shop was a very short distance away. Since we were gouged on the towing we decided to have a family member to bring a trailer so we can haul the truck back and then later on come back for the camper. As we waited for the trailer to arrive and my husband was asking if they had something to help get the truck on the trailer. They directed him to the nearest rental place to rent a come-along type deal. The owner never offered to help. It would have taken one of his trucks 5 minutes to pull it on the trailer. Then the owner warns my husband that if the camper stays the night in their unused parking lot it was going to be an additional 20 dollars. I was floored at the way this owner was acting. This owner doesn't care about his customers at all. He is all about making as much money off of people that need help. Paying for a service is one thing but being gouged is another. Beware people! Byrd's Automotive is a rip off!

They were absoulty great! They were extremely nice and professional. I took my truck in and they were able to do everything that day to where I could pick it up that afternoon. I will take my truck there anytime I need anything done. There customer serivce was superior! They even were able to work with me on finiancing what I need to get done on my truck. I will definitly recommend them everytime anyone asks me!

KEY WORDS TO THIS COMPLAINT TRUCK AND TRAILER BROKE DOWN ON BRIDGE .THE POLICE DEPT CALLED BYRD'S TO REMOVE A TRUCK AND TRAILER FROM THE BRIDGE DU TO SAFETY THEY DISPATCHED TWO TRUCKS ONE FOR THE TRAILER AND ONE FOR THE TRUCK WE DID NOT MAKE THE CALL FOR THE SECOND TRUCK WHEN THE PD DISPATCHES A TRUCK IT IS ON A ROTATION SYSTEM IT DOES NOT MATTER IF WE GO FIVE MILES ARE FIVE FEET THE PRICE IS THE SAME (SET BY THE PD) WRECKERS ARE VERY COSTLY AND EXPENSIVE TO OPERATE IT IS THE BEAST OF THIS TYPE BUSINESS
IF THIS LADY HAD NOT HAD A ATTITUDE WHEN SHE CAM IN THE DOOR SHE WOULD HAVE BEN TREATED DIFFERENTLY WE DID HER AND HER FAMILY A FAVOR BY REMOVING THEM SAFELY FROM THE BRIDGE AT PEAK TRAFFIC TIME WITH OUT INCIDENT
