This company is a fraud, scam, operating illegally! They are liars and extort more money after their estimate. They are doing a "Bait and Switch Scam"

Automotive Engine Rebuilders, Inc is a suspended corporation. They are suspended for not paying taxes to the State of California. They have been operating illegally since 2008!

They quoted a price of $1300 to rebuild our engine in 7-10 days. 14 days later they said it would cost over $2900. We told them to return our car and deposit and they attempted to extort more money from us to get our car back. Two months later I have to sue them to get our car back! The Bereau of Automotive Repair investagated AER and found they never did a proper estimate. Our legal department found this companies corporation was suspended in August 1 2008 by the Franchise Tax Board for non-payment of taxes. This company did not file their Statement of Information since 2007. This company did not try to operate legally and should never be used. This comapny thinks they do not have to follow any laws and will attempt to steal you car if you dont agree with what they say.

they rebuild my engine and they give mi warranty for 6 years and car got over heated because there was a water leak from lower water hose and they do not want to validated the warranty because they said it is my fault they want to charge me six hundred dollars to fix it again

I HAD THE ENGINE REBUILT WITHIN 3 MONTHS WHILE WARMING UP MY CAR THE TEMPETURE BEGAN TO RISE I TURN THE ENGINE OFF THEY SAID I WAD A LEAK IN LOWER HOSE AND THE CAR OVER HEATED AND WANT ME TO PAY ADDITIONAL 600 DOLLARS THEY HAVE HAD MY CAR FOR THREE WEEKS THE OWNER VICTOR HAD HIS NEPHEW WORK ING FOR HIM AND SOLD ME ON THERE LOCATION AND ALL THE GREAT WORK THEY DO AFTER A FEW WEEKS HIS NEPHEW DOES NOT WORK THERE AND VICTOR WOULD NOT PICKUP ANY CALLS I NOW HAVE TO SELL THE CAR BECAUSE I DO NOT TRUST THERE WORK WARNING TO ALL LOOK ELSE WHERE THIS PLACE IS A BIG RIP
HOPEFULLY THE BBB GETS TO THEM AND SHUTS THEM DOWN
THEIVES TIME ARE HARD DONT RIP PEOPLE OFF
