I looked up the address to the body-shop my insurance company recommended after I was in an accident and found a comment online that had me concerned. I’ve been insured with the same company for 21 years now so I thought I better listen to them and I’m glad I did. Autopride did a great repair they called and spoke with me through the repairs and the only surprise was how good my truck looked when I picked it up. I wish I could give them 10 stars!
I never do this stuff, I don’t complain at restaurants either! But I gotta tell someone, these people resurrected my car and made it just like it was before I wrecked it. Even the cop at the accident scene said it looked totaled out. I have to give props to the entire team they for sure took PRIDE in repairing my 2009 Ford. I met the body guy that was repairing my car and he explained how he was gonna do the work, that was cool and after it was painted it shined just like the rest of the car and I couldn’t tell it was repaired. Props to the dude that I worked with too, this accident was my fault and he didn’t make me feel like a dummy.
I have a classic car MB 250 SE/C from 68 and the first repair was a dent at the back side. Perfect repair and the color matches 100%. Next repair was a broken wiper linkage. Estimate for change at Mercedes Ft. Myers was 1700US (without parts) So I went with my used linkage to auto pride and they charched me only 175. After changing all fluids of the car the differencial oil came out of the axle. They helped me to order the parts for a price less than I would pay at Ebay. The service manager Rick Brown is very helpfull. I give only 4 stars because the garage is very crowdy and they need to much time because they have a lot of work. (Maybe the reason is my classic car?) I'm trust Rick for 100% and will be there in the future.
This place does not know how to treat their customers. They act like they care until the second you give them the authorization to do the repairs, after that good luck. The main person that is in charge of the repairs is rude and has no people skills whatsoever. The lack of communication throughout the process was unreal. I had to keep asking for the same things over and over and still got back a loaded mess. Even had a dispute with them over something that should have been a simple apology since I had docmented proof and they refuse to take responsbility for their mistakes. If you are looking for poor customer service the minute you sign on the dotted line, getting your vehicle back in fair cosmetic shape with no attention paid to even checking out possible mechanical problems so your car is more broke then when it got there, and an extremely rude awakening if you dare question anything or point out a mistake on their end then this is your place. If you want a good job done by someone that cares than run as fast as you can because Autopride has NOTHING to be proud about!
Worst customer service experience EVER. i went in to get an estimate and apparently was in the wrong building, but the five people that walked past me in the 20 minutes i was patiently waiting at the front desk never stopped to assist me. ugghh very upsetting, not to mention where was the secretary in this 20 minutes? finally i get the right building and the secretary, who was not only very unprofessionally dressed (tattoos showing, dirty flipflops with dresspants?) was extremely rude. i was subject to wait for the only other person doing estimates that day to get done with her personal phone call. only problem was when she was done with her phone call after 10 min. she sat with another coworker and gabbed about things going on in the office. finally after spending 40 minutes at Auto Pride i decided that if im not worth taking 5 minutes out of your day to give an estimate and quite possibly get some business then your not worth my money. i will never set foot in Auto Pride Collision Center again!
