Repair/Service: All tires replaced

Hourly Rate: $75

We had all our tires replaced here. Afterward we started hearing a strange noise while driving. Then the steering wheel started to shake and then a wheel FELL OFF. The tow truck driver who towed the car said the wheel had been put on incorrectly with a spacer that shouldn't have ever been there. When it fell off the lug nuts weren't loose, they were entirely sheared off.

We asked American Tire Depot for our money back, since their negligence was the cause of the wheel falling off. Honestly I expected that they would be glad that no one had been hurt, and refund us without a problem. It could have been a serious accident if it had come off on the freeway (and probably a huge lawsuit in that case). But instead off taking responsibility for their mistake, the manager accused ME of "loosening the lug nuts" myself in order to rip HIM off! He said "we see this all the time, people trying to take advantage of us.". I couldn't believe it.

Needless to say, we will be getting our car repaired elsewhere, and then we will be taking American Tire Depot to court for the costs of all repairs.

Stay away.
