Repair/Service: Spark Plug change

Don't fooled by coupons and his talks. If you are using the coupons, be sure to request to perform only the coupon related changes. Dave will suggest to do more checks/repairs and the final price will shoot up exponentially. I went for a Spark plug change for my car and the Autozone guy said you don't need platinum plugs but Dave insisted to use platinum plugs and also insisted that the Air filter needs to be replaced. The initial bill was estimated at about 40 dollars but finally it went up to 170 dollars. So be aware of the services that you agree to. I will never go back to his shop. the labor is also too high. Try to find some other good shop. If you ok with shelling out in 100's of dollars then you can go to this shop. you can get the same kind of service in other nearby shops. And another important thing is that they proudly display this 'We don't recommended services that the cars won't need' but Dave will suggest/recommend lot of things and will give statements that will make you panic and you will finally agree to do those changes. Always get a second opinion before do the service here.
