Jeff Hitchcock sold me a car for $3500, that he purchased for $200 from a customer of his father's who had wanted to donate the car to charity. He claimed to have "fixed" up the Subaru to perfect running condition. I purchased the car based on his reputation as a professional mechanic and invoices provided by his father's business, Mike Hitchcock Automotive, who knew very well what their son was up to and how he was using their shop in his deception. Well, the car is trashed, Jeff did no mechanical work and lied through his teeth at every question I asked. When I came to him with concerns, he ranted and yelled and would admit nothing. He is as dishonest as the day is long, and so are his parents and Mike Hitchcock Automotive for aiding him in defrauding a trusting consumer who trusted the family as honest mechanics. The car needs literally thousands of dollars worth of work, the car was rear-ended and the frame is bent, along with the exhaust system, the transmission is almost gone and the front brakes needed to be completely replaced, including new rotors. Just beware when dealing with these people, there are many highly skilled mechanics and definitely more honest people around, don't waste your time with the Hitchcock's, you'll come out on the losing end every time.
