what wires go to the positive side of the ignition coil and does the coil go to the negative side or the positive side

  Im not sure if i remember correctly but the 2 brownish wires go to distributor then black/yellow go to -coil side.Then a wire from + side of coil to restistor.Then blue/yellow to other side of resistor. Then same side as blue wire on resistor run a wire from that to a 12v wire that gets power only in (key run) position. Although Don't go by wire colors i just gave you (Like what i said, im not sure). I don't have a book that covers your year model with the correct wire colors...just use a multimeter to find out which one is run and which one is.
