My windshield wipers only work on lowest and high speed. What could be the problem?

Wipers just don't work on all positions

  Note: Wiper switch controls the activation and speed of the wiper motor and in some models also controls the washer
  When not replaced, wipers may run continually, not function or function at only one speed.
