Whats wrong if my oil sprays and catches fire?

My lower engine caught fire when i put it out there was oil all over the engine

  Where is the oil coming from? I've seen a melted piston cause so much crankcase pressure that it blew the pcv valve out of the valve cover and sprayed oil all over the engine compartment. Maybe too much crankcase pressure or bad gasket somewhere?
