Yes your water pump does leak antifreeze. Even though its called a water pump, really it is the pump for the cooling system which is filled with coolant/antifreeze. There is the chance the water pump is still good and the gasket is just leaking and all you will have to do is have the gasket replaced. If your going to have someone repair it make sure you ask them if its just the gasket or the pump and gasket.

most water pumps have a weep hole that will leak coolant when water pump needs replaced . gasket posible but noy likely should be farly easy to fix and inexpensive .
    hope this helps

the water pump is not expensive on that vehicle and whoever does it is going to charge you the same for replacing the water pump and gasket or the gasket alone. your better off replacing the pump as well and enjoy a leak free car at least from the water pump for many miles
