  It depends - on the electrical load; types of accessories operating - such as high beam headlamps, air-conditioner, heater / blower fan, etc.
  Typically, the alternator and built-in voltage regulator will recharge the battery and supply all the current and voltage needs for the electrical system.
  You may have the electrical system / alternator output tested - for free - at any local auto parts store.
