2004 Isuzu Rodeo S 6Cyl3.2L - Engine
Vehicle is over heating. There is considerable dampness in passenger floor board. Steam comes out of defrost vents.
Only about 80,000 miles on vehicle. Well maintained, just had oil change and general service two weeks ago. Could it be the heater core?

Sounds like the heater core is leaking.

That's what I'm thinking...pretty major repair including pulling dash out?

Replacing the heater core is not an easy DIY job (7 hrs).

Replaced heater core on Chevy Astro van I had years ago . Think it would have been easyer to take the motor out and go in that way . Ha ha . Good luck AND take your time . One thing that helps is take some photos as you go , even with your phone and keep something to put nuts and bolts in . Sucks looking for them in drive way .
