2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Base 6Cyl3.8L - Body & Interior
The turn switch does not turn my headlights to manual control. Will this affect the low beams coming on at night?
The knob which should shut my lights off to manual control will not stay off, instead, it puts the knob back to Auto for the headlights/day running lights.

It could. are you having a problem with the lights not coming on automatically? I would suggest just having the switch replaced, it is spendy but if it is broken, it could leave you with no headlights at all.

I began to have a problem, they would stay off a little longer each time. Last November, I was on a road trip and driving at night and they didn't come on. I thought maybe if I replaced the low beam bulbs I could limp by, I replaced them, got back on the road, and the lights finally came back on after twenty minutes; now, they haven't had any trouble since that night....could that have been the issue? the low beams finally wearing out?
