1990 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado 8Cyl5.7L - Transmissions & Drivetrains
Truck shaking when accelerating?
Sometimes when i drive my truck, it will shake (from back to front) and it will not accelerate. It is like the engine is revving but the transmission is not putting it to the wheels. It happens occasionally usually when starting to drive in the morning or if it rains or is cold. No warning lights have come on, and no other things have gone wrong with it. My truck is a 1990 silverado a v8 5.7 liter eninge and it does have around 175000 miles on it. Also when this happens it sounds kind of like something hitting a fan blade or shuttering noise.

It sounds like your fluid maybe low
Check your fluid if its full enough and, if it isn't rosy red, change it and the filter.
    Then try it again.
