1988 Chevrolet R20 Suburban Silverado 8Cyl5.7L - Engine

Truck will not run takes a mile to get to 35mph. Replaced fuel pump/filter/sensors what is left? Could be computer?

Every time I drive it it has done this. Will not run only goes 5mph until you reach 35/40mph then will go on okay, until you come to a light/stop sign and the whole process repeats. Do I try to replace the main computer since everything has been on the fuel injected system? Need it to run, used to go to work daily.

  plugged exhaust...maybe

  This sounds like you may have a vacuum line unhooked. Take a piece of hose put one end in your ear and move the other end around the engine to see if you hear a suction noise any where. It's possible also that your mass air flow sensor is bad, and change the air filter if it's clogged it will smother your engine. I hope this helps
