2004 GMC Yukon XL 2500 SLT 8Cyl6.0L - Transmissions & Drivetrains
Why does the transmission shift into auto 4x4 randomly while driving?
140k on Yukon, occasionally it will shift into auto4x4 while driving. If I shut the vehicle off, then restart, it will clear ........ any advice is welcome.

A common fault is the 4WD switch (the actual button you press to turn on 4WD). The circuit board in the switch goes bad.
