1990 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 6Cyl4.0L - Transmissions & Drivetrains

Tranmission down shift

When you put the truck in drive,the transmission will not go into low. you have to move the shift lever to low to get the trans. to go in low. you have to shift the lever up for each gear and it will not down shift when stopping.

  It is possible that one of your powertrain control module inputs/outputs sensor is defective or the fault is in your wiring/connection to your sensor. If possible diagnose your vehicle with a scan tool to determine if you have a stored trouble code
