I think the TPS is bad, it ran and i shut it off then it wouldn,t start again. Out scanner on it it showed a bad TPS

  What is the code? My suspicion is either the knock sensor or the CPS is failing. Have it verified by a scan tool and replace parts if necessary.

  This will be the third throttle body, as the TPS is built in. I think this vehicle has a low voltage problem. Also the overdrive switch on the trans is burnt out. The interior lights flicker almost all the time. Oh, thank-you for your help. This aveo only has 235000 miles on it, it should not b e worn out yet?

  I doubt the TPS is bad. besides, if you unplug the TPS, the computer will substitute a fixed value in place of the open circuit that it reads and the car would still run. You need to read what fault codes are there or you cannot fix the car.
