Told by oil change place steering box is leaking

Some play in steering took it in for an alignment, told my steering box is leaking and the alignment will not fix problem... steering box? What are they talking about, cost to repair?

  That's part of your steering system. If you don't fix your leaking steering box then your power steering pump will soon go out too. look up cost of a power steering rack for help on price.
