Jimm 11/24/2012You can easily repair this yourself - using an old toothbrush, and some household baking soda. First step, remove the battery negative and positive terminals. Next, mix a paste of baking soda and water, then using an old toothbrush clean off all traces of the corrosion from both battery terminals. Clean / rinse with fresh tap water.
Reinstall the battery terminals to the pattery post. Apply a thin layer of grease over the terminals to protect from corosion. Cost = zero.
