HouseCallAuto 3/15/2010Yes, you can do this with the proper tools. The timing belt turns the water pump. Make sure you use a repair manual with step by step with pictures. ALLDATADIY.com is terrific for $26 online.

RC 3/15/2010If the water pump is leaking, it may have contaminated the new belt. Make sure you check the belt.
