2002 Subaru Forester S 4Cyl2.5L - Engine

Thinking about swapping out my motor and transmission

Would like to swap out my motor and automatic transmission and install a 2.5l motor and auto trans from a 2002 legacy,can this be done without a hassle and any problems or do I need a motor and trans from a forester to make it easier?

  Should be the same basic engine and transmission design and configuration.
