2007 GMC Envoy SLE 6Cyl4.2L - Steering & Suspension
Was my suspension damaged when my car was towed?
Car was towed with with the rear tires in the air and the front ones on the ground. I have a front wheel drive, 4x4. It was towed about 52 miles. The engine sounds like it is straining and the car leans to the drivers side in the rear. Also when I turn the steering wheel all the way to the right the engine almost dies. It looks like the front tires are leaning in at the bottom where the tire touches the ground.

It could have been. you should have a mechanic check on it. towing with rear tires in the air causes problems sometimes especially if the connections were not right.

Lowering a vehicle always changes the factory suspension, thus a poor ride, plus other issues.
