1986 Chevrolet K20 Custom 8Cyl5.7L - Engine
Starting very hard when the engine is cold.
Starts OK when warm. Starting somewhat better in warm weather.

    check the battery voltage before starting in cold weather, if ts below 12 volts could be time for a new batery. other things to consider, ignition tune-up, sometimes a weak spark caused by old plugs wires, cap and rotor can cause hard starting in colder weather.

    It''s carburated, Electronic ignition. Plugs are relatively new (platinum). Visually checked spark plug wires at night for flashover. No corona or flashover. I will check the battery voltage.....thanks for the reply.
