1996 Pontiac Grand Am GT 6Cyl3.1L - Engine

no start engine turn over

wont start turn over alt make hummin key off. fuel pump cycle after u stop try to start. no spark

  Probably a bad 7X crankshaft position sensor. This sensor is located at the rear of the engine at the bottom side with a two wire coonnector. You should check the computer for error codes using a code reader otherwise this is just guesswork from pattern failures. It might not be the crank sensor.
