HouseCallAuto 2/1/2013I need you to plug in a code reader and tell what (if any) fault codes are stored. I want you to remove both battery terminals and clean the battery posts and the terminals so they look mint. After doing that see if anything changes with the no idling. If it still does not idle but will continue to run by giving it gas, replace the idle speed control in the throttle body. Easy to replace and part not big money. Reasonable risk to go ahead and replace that as they fail often on Chrysler trucks and cause a "no idle" condition. I just don't know where the gauge problem fits in with the no idle. I need you to erase the fault codes and then run the truck until a new code or codes set. And then I need to know the codes that set.
