when I try to start it it acts like it is not getting gas

  normally when newer cars like yours dont start and seem to not get gas is you might just need a new fuel filter. they normally should be replaced every 10,000 miles and are pretty easy to do. if its not the fuel filter then look at your fuses to see if any are blown. if it isnt any fuses it might be a fuel pump,fuel injector pump, or fuel injectors themselves
