My speedometer does not work. Where do I look to narrow down the problem?
My speedo quit working a couple of months ago. The pickup has 125,000 miles. I have replaced the speed sensor on the transfer case but it did not solve the problem. I tried testing the 2 wires that go to the sensor, but could not get the test light to light up and I had good ground. I dont have a book that has the wiring schematic, so I do not know where to check now. Any ideas?

Speedo meter cable going into the trany, there will be a plastic gear on the inside of the tranny, replace that plastic end.

The speedo is electronic so there is no gear in the transmission. Do you have any experience with that?
