  Speed sensor is mounted to the base of the transmission. Usually you can reach it from under the vehicle without much hastle. Look for a wires that go to the transmission housing that should be the speed sensor.

  Researched a bit couldn't find anything on having to reset or do anything specific when changing the speed sensor. Should be able to just change it and go.
  don't know if you have the part yet but found it when i did a little research for a great price!
