Are there special tools to replace all spark plugs on a Dodge 2000 Ram Van?

IDuring regular maintenance. I replaced my spark plugs. They are located inside an unremovable metal cylinder. I replaced all except the second plug on the driver's side from the front of the vehicle. The cylinder seems to be too narrow. I'm unable to fit the spark plug socket all the way down to remove the plug. Is this common? How can I replace it as my car is starting to backfire.

  you can try a thin wall socket

  pull heat sleve out of head then put plug in ,put sleve back in head
