HouseCallAuto 9/4/2013This question has no answer. A starter is not selected by size, it is selected by year, make and model and engine size.. I am not sure why you ask this question in this way (size) so until you provide more detail I am sorry I cannot assist you.
Jimm 9/4/2013Here are the Ford part numbers; F68Z11002AA, F68Z11002AARM - for the starter on the 2000 Windstar, 3.8L engine. The starter design is; permanent magnet gear reduction; Power: 1.4KW.
Not sure what is meant by the 'size' of the starter? Does this mean the mounting bolt spacing? Does this mean the overall length or width? As stated, the starter motor is selceted by the application; year, make, model, and engine size.
Check the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse.com, wwwpartsgeek.com, www.autoanything.com and www.rockauto.com - to list only a few sources. For example, they (Rock Auto) list the starter motor from around $54.00 for your vehicle.
