why does the service ride control come on in the message center every time i start the vehicle

  Because there is a problem the computer is picking up with the air suspension. could be its detecting a leak or that a sensor isn't functioning properly, or a problem with the air compressor. a good scanner should be able to pick up ride control troublecodes. If you get the code it might give you more info
