Why does my seatbelt light stay on when I am wearing my seatbelt?

    There may be a problem with the seat belt switch. Requires a profesional scanner to read live data and identify which seat belt is the cause. Probably driver side yes, but if you replace that and find out the cause is the pass side you will feel terrible.

    I have read a lot about it might be the connector.....do you think that's possible??

    It is likely to be an open in the circuit that is at the seat belt latch, you have to diagnose it. The scanner you do not have, professional shops have them, I use it all the time. the point was that you will not know which seat belt is the cause unless you pay someone at a shop that can plug the scanner in and read the seat belt switch status...
